![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:35 |

What’s the problem?
The bigges
t thing wrong with the Soul is that Kia doesn’t let you get the big awesome panoramic sunroof with the cool colors, like Kia Soul
Green (the official color of the Kia Soul), or orange, or yellow, or Caribbean Blue
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:36 |

I...don’t hate it
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:36 |

Why not?
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:39 |

They are to American cars as the Minilites are to British. Overabundance and not very unique, but overall not terrible usually.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:46 |

because they’ re cheap? its not like they’re buying high end wheels or unique ones, these come a dime a dozen
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:48 |
|
These are Bullitt wheels tho.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:53 |

Clearly compact modern muscle right before our eyes
![]() 01/31/2019 at 14:57 |

Not sure if I want to imagine an alternate reality where Kias are RWD and muscley, or an alternate reality where a badge-engineered Soul is being sold as a Pontiac.
I mean, the first one might be awesome, but the second is so messed up I’d be curious what else was going on.

They’re not my favorite, but they look okay in this application.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 15:01 |

They're definitely over used in the muscle car world, but on a Kia Soul ... I kinda dig it.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 15:05 |

I’d bet the owner owned a PT but it got too rusty
![]() 01/31/2019 at 15:15 |

Don't let the comment sway you. You are right and these are terrible

Tire shop said they were the coolest mags going..
![]() 01/31/2019 at 15:32 |

They are to muscle cars as TE37s are to Japanese cars.

Torq thrusts are low effort trash and should be disposed of.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:02 |
|
Trash is cheap, doesn’t mean you should buy it.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:02 |
|
The problem is not the Kia
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:03 |

Pontiac didn’t throw trash torq thrusts on their cars tho
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:03 |

Ban
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:13 |

I fully support this and applaud you, good sir.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:14 |

Meh I Love mine, they look stock but the rears are 10.5
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:19 |
|
True, but Pontiacs are more normal for idiots to throw trash torq-thrusts at than Kias are.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:37 |
|
Again, the problem isn’t the car, it’s the wheels
![]() 01/31/2019 at 16:59 |
|
The wheels are a problem on their own, agreed, but the incongruity of the car the wheels are on suggests some weird things would have to be true if a Kia on TorqThurst knockoffs was more common.
I think somebody suggested I put TorqThrusts on the Galaxie at one point.
![]() 01/31/2019 at 17:10 |

I have seen Galaxie perfection, and it wasn’t on torq thrusts:

Interesting. Similar caps to the Custom 300-style ones they used on the R-code, but not exactly.
My own aim is to figure out what 15" steel
wheel will fit the stock full-wheel covers so I can bump to 15" unobtrusively.

You can't touch me :P

It’s not awful for some reason. They key to making them look good is a decent amount of sid ewall. I feel like if you sw apped the badges for a US-spec vehicle, you can get away with calling it a muscle wagon...almost! I bet these wheels would look acceptable on either a woode d PT cruiser or HHR SS.

I kinda want a set for my Transit Connect . How much would you hate me?
